If you are dating someone, or in a relationship with someone, or would want to date or start a relationship with a woman, you have to be aware of what women mean. When women say the word: ‘No,’ does she really mean it? If she says ‘Yes’ to you, does she really mean ‘100% yes’?

Here are a few phrases men usually hear, which are usually misunderstood by a lot of guys whenever they are talking to women:

1. ‘I’m not mad. Why would I be?’

If you notice your partner acting irritated, too silent, and then, when you ask her if she’s mad, she says she isn’t, do not immediately believe her. More often than not, when women say that they are not mad, they actually are.

What women mean when they tell you that they are not mad and then follow it with: ‘Why would I be mad?’ is this: they are actually mad and if you do not ask them more than once whether they’re mad or not, you will only upset them more and they will also feel that you don’t really care about their feelings.

That’s why, when talking to women who tell you that they are not mad or angry, it is best to ask them the same question for a few times. If they still insist that everything is fine, you can make a couple of guesses about what you may have done that could have upset them, and wait for their confirmation.

2. ‘Do I look fat?’

When women say that they look fat, and then, ask you for a confirmation, never ever tell them that they have indeed become fat, unless you want to hurt them or really upset them. When conversing with women and the topic of weight or physical characteristics come up, you have to be careful. Try to answer in a way that will make them feel that no matter how fat they become, or no matter if they have imperfections or not, they will still be attractive and special in your eyes.

What women mean whenever they ask you if they’re fat is this: they want to get an assurance from you that they still look good so you should be prepared to dish out compliments about their nice traits, physical features, or characteristics.

3. ‘What are the things you love about me?’

When conversing with women, and then, you suddenly hear this question: ‘What are the things you love or like about me?’ it is a signal that they are feeling down about something or may have some low self esteem at that moment.

What women mean when they ask guys that question is that they need cheering up and would expect to be given compliments, a hug, or even a kiss accompanied by words on how special they are.

With most women, a ‘Yes’ may actually mean ‘No’, and a ‘No’ may actually mean ‘Yes’. Men and women have some similarities, yet so many differences, which makes conversing with women, most of the time, ‘unsuccessful’. Once you find out what women mean, however, you can look forward to better communication with women.

One thing that is really weird is that many single men spent more time fantasizing that they have a bevy of beautiful girlfriends rather than actually going out and start meeting the girls. I mean, if you are not positively out there doing anything to meet women, then how can you attract one, not to say the many you wish to meet?

So start going out more often as it is quite impossible to have any kind of a dating life if you stay at home most of the time crunching on some snacks in front of your TV screen. Look, your potential girlfriend is not going to walk out from your TV gogle box no matter how often and how hard you stare at it.

So, can you set aside at least one or two days per week to go to places where women hang out such as the library, book stores, shopping malls and even dance clubs? That isn’t too much to ask for, is it?

Next, you can learn a hobby which can give you the environment to meet more women. Something which you have an interest in as well as a hobby that many women will be interested in such as learning dancing, cooking classes, yoga lessons or even join your local gym to build a more attractively fit body.

My personal preference will be taking dancing lessons because there will be some touching involved and many other interactions with the girls such as discussing the dance moves. If you can find a hobby class where women outnumber men, then your chances of successfully meeting and dating the girls with skyrocket phenomenally.

Of course, before you go out and hit on the girls, you will have to improve on your look. Even if you are already good looking chap, why not make it better and be an even more handsome man? There are always something to improve on your appearance if you want to impress women. How about getting a new haircut to look neater, some new clothes to be more fashionable or an exercise regimen to look more handsome and attractive?

Do you know you can meet and make friends with women anytime of the day? This is because since you will leaving your house everyday, why don’t you start having casual conversations with any women while you are buying groceries, going for a walk in the park or strolling in your local shopping mall?

Your conversations don’t have to be long and well thought out. Just say a few words of greetings to see how things can proceed from there. Just make it a point to say “hi” to any women you meet in the course of the day and if she sends out a friendly reponse, you can then react and take it to another level with her.

Another good way of meeting and dating women is through dating sites or social networking sites such as facebook. Set up a good detailed profile of yourself and you do need a good picture of yourself to have any response. Then start sending messages out to women by asking them a question about themselves in a friendly way and wants to know them better. The questions should be something you noticed about her in her profile, so there can be a higher chance for the girls you have contacted to respond to your messages.

You should enjoy meeting women and it should be fun and you should not feel pressurized. If you feel pressured and is nervous, the girls will know and that is not cool!

So what are you waiting for. Logout of your computer right now and start going out to attract, meet and date beautiful girls!

When it comes to the subject of confidence, there are several things that can knock this fragile and important human feeling. One of the things that can affect a man’s confidence is the loss of his hair. Most men suffer some form of hair loss throughout their lives and generally we have no control over it. Obviously there are a number of factors that are reported to have an influence on a person’s hair loss. Stress, hats and bleaching or colouring has all been linked at one time or another to premature hair loss in both men and women.

It seems like hair loss is more commonplace in males than it is in females and it usually strikes in one of two forms, either erosion from the front backwards or from the crown of the head outwards. Thankfully there are now a number of hair restoration procedures that can be performed that will allow men to regain some of their lost hair and regain the confidence that they had lost.

One of the hair restoration procedures that is very quick to implement and makes an instant impact is a toupee. The modern toupee’s are a lot more advanced than previous versions and users can now walk the streets in confidence with a toupee on without the fear of their hairpiece being spotted or ridiculed. Obviously though this is more of a last resort in hair restoration than a preventative measure.

If you have noticed that you are starting to lose your hair then it may be time to contact one of the many great hair restoration agencies around the country. With treatments ranging from hair transplants to heat treatments and creams there really is a wealth of possible cures for the loss of hair that really do work. You only have to look at the amount of sporting stars that have battle hair loss and won. Australian bowler, Shane Warne and England Rugby player Austin Healy are just two stars that have benefitted from hair treatment procedures and looking at both of their scalps you would not say that either athlete is struggling with a lack of hair.

If you are currently going through a period when you are losing your hair or you know someone who is losing your hair, then be a good friend and recommend them on to one of the fantastic hair restoration companies in 2010 and give yourself or your friend a new lease of life.

Putting together one of the best comic collections in America has always been a family affair for Gary Keller.

It began with visits to his grandparents’ home when he was a boy in the 1960s. “They lived near Larry’s Comic Book Store, which was on Devon Avenue in Chicago,” Keller says. “I spent a lot of time there and that’s what kind of got me going as a kid, just spending time in an old, damp, dusty, musty comic book shop and loving every second of it.”

It helped that Keller’s father liked comics as well, and often joined him on trips to the comic store. “My father was absolutely a comic collector,” Keller says.

Nearly five decades later, Keller’s collection is one of the best in the hobby. “From doing business with Gary over the years, we know he has an eye for quality,” says Ed Jaster, vice president at Dallas-based Heritage Auctions (HA.com), which specializes in comic-book auctions. “But the other secret to his collecting success is support from the folks back home.”

Growing up, Keller bought comics wherever he could find them. He picked them up at drugstores, but also sent away for the famous back-issue lists of vintage comic pioneers Robert Bell and Howard Rogofsky. In a stroke of collecting luck, the last book Keller bought off the stands before “discovering girls and other things” was 1974’s Incredible Hulk No. 181, a favorite among collectors for its first full appearance of the popular Wolverine.

Keller returned to collecting in the late 1980s and by the late 1990s, success in business allowed him to take his comic interest to the next level. He expanded his focus to Golden Age comics and began snatching up Mile High pedigrees. “Since 1999, I have ‘collected hard,’ ” Keller explains. “I bought books that were previously holy grails and unattainable. You get your hands on one of those Ernst Gerber Photo-Journals and tell yourself it would be cool to have this and this and this.”

Now married with four daughters, Keller’s support on the home front remains strong.

“My wife in particular is very understanding,” he says. “Most wives’ toes would curl if they knew their husband was spending these amounts on comic books. All I needed was a little bit of a green light! I got it, and I was off.” On top of that, “All my daughters are heavily into comic books. Spider-Man and Captain America are their favorites.”

Selections from Keller’s collection will be featured in Heritage’s vintage comics and comic art auction scheduled for May 20-21, 2010. Some of Keller’s comics, such as DC’s Adventure Comics #67 from 1941, graded in near-mint/mint condition, could fetch up to $45,000.

Although he’s parting with some of his prized comics, including Golden Age Adventure Comics and Flash Comics, Keller says his collecting days are far from over. He’s just focusing on his world-class toy and muscle-car collections, with full support from the wife and kids, of course.
