Compared to a woman’s perspective, most men consider their shoes more of a matter of function rather than that of fashion. Of course, it’s still a fact that men like to have nice shoes, too, but they seem to care less about their shoes than the ladies. Naturally, the type and number of shoes owned will vary from man to man, but sometimes men have one or two different kinds of shoes and they would be satisfied with it. A couple of sports shoes, casual shoes, and man’s sandals are the things that can be found in their closets, but the style of these shoes varies significantly depending on their personal taste.
With the sandals, there’s also some sort of variation on what type to choose from. Unlike the ladies who would feel already dressed up with a pair of black sling, back dress sandals or those with heels, when it comes to men, sandals are just used for summer comfort only. The most basic and casual of their sandals are either flip flops or slide sandals. These are easy to get on and off, and would cover a minimum portion of the feet, and also work well as slippers to be worn at home.
Aside from summertime, and may also be worn to sport events and other occasions where there’s a need to change shoes quickly. Other men’s sandals are have rather more straps and substance. Others would select gladiator style sandals, and some wear Tevas or other beach-style sandals. For some, a darker leather sandal with a less casual look is what they like. For others, the more pleasantly styled shoes just would never make an appearance in their wardrobe.
There are also shoe sandals. These are brown sandals (or any other color) with holes in them for the purpose of ventilation. They either have a “strappy” look or just have holes cut into the regular shoe pattern. This can be worn more as shoes than as sandals and work for the office and also for social events.
Aside from the slide sandals that often become sports slippers for men, most of their sandals are for warm weather shoes. They are worn when it’s hot or on the beach, or in other places where you like to remain cool, but men would wear them more as a fashion statement, too.
Men should take girls for their example. Man’s sandals are good for everyday use. They give comfort, and they look great and there’s no reason they have to be reserved strictly only as hot weather shoes the way most men use them. Checking out a new style of sandal is a great idea for men who would choose to expand their shoe collection.
