When you talk about legal steroids the subject of prohormones is sure to come up. Prohormones are precursors to parent hormones such as testosterone, nor-testosterone, nandrolone. These hormones are converted to parent hormones via liver enzymes. Prohormones are used mainly by athletes looking to increase size, strength, endurance, reduce recovery time or add lean body mass. They are most often used for increasing muscle mass or reducing body fat levels.

Pro-hormones, and/or Pro-steroids (I won’t get into all the subdivisions and categories since there are many and they all work more similarly than you’re led to believe) are essentially weak steroids. Many of them were once legal, but are now gone. No doubt about it, they worked, not as well as pharmaceutical grade steroids, but better than most nutritional supplements. Pro-hormones are precursors of certain natural or synthetic anabolic androgenic steroids (AAS). They are often referred to as legal steroid alternatives to AAS.

Prohormones can have the same side effects as anabolic steroids, and are dependent upon the user as to which side effects one might experience. Some side effects are acne, hair loss, breast tissue enlargement, and prostate swelling. Prohormones are substances that are enzymatically converted to anabolic hormones in the body. They are differentiated from anabolic steroids in that enzyme conversion is a rate limiting factor in how strong of a response they illicit.

Oral delivery is the easiest but is usually associated with the lowest bioavailability and a higher possibility of liver toxicity. Also, oral use necessitates dosing 3-4 times daily as it only keeps blood levels elevated for a few hours. Oral steroids have a 17aMethyl group which blocks liver enzymes and therefore can cause liver enzymes to increase. Often grey market anabolic steroids like the prohormones (ones not classified by the DEA, yet not legal by FDA standards) use this 17a Methyl delivery system to increase potency.

Prohormones and even the legal steroids cannot be taken year round, but are rather run in short “cycles” by bodybuilders and other athletes. This is especially true of the oral steroids because of their effect on the liver and liver enzymes.

Cycling is assumed to have three purposes: to optimize results in a given training phase; to prevent harmful side effects by giving the body a rest; and to overcome the body’s tolerance for the supplements. Typical supplementation cycles run between four and 12 weeks. Finally, it is especially important to take adequate time off after each cycle with these prohormones or legal steroids to allow the body to recover and to follow a proper post cycle therapy.

The endless opportunities for male enhancement are all around us. In an age of designer labels we have realized that we can re-design ourselves. This phenomenon of bodily enhancement will probably mutate into even deeper levels with the coming of genetic engineering.

The sexual revolution beginning in the second half of the 20th Century gave birth to The Individual. The old group identity carried over from wartime military service began to disappear. This new found individuality became more diverse and radical. No more uniforms. Manufacturers raced to keep up with the never ending demand for something unique.

A strong competitive aspect crept out of this desire to measure up and to be counted in with the best. Beneath the surface of this creative urge our sexuality was also seeking expression. Male enhancement became a way of re-modelling ourselves to become more attractive and to increase our potential as a worthy mate.

Human beings can be very self critical. We long to be admired or to be respected or to be accepted for what we are. But we look into the mirror and we see imperfection. No one will want me when I am so ugly or so short or so tall or all the other things that no one will want me for. This agonizing self doubt is something to be recognised as something to do something about!

Male enhancement products are one positive way of going about this. Making a physical change will provoke changes on other levels. Just open one door and a whole corridor will open up before you with more doors and more possibilities. Your self confidence will increase. The most important thing that will happen is invisible but mysteriously visible to the opposite sex. Magnetism. Your attractiveness will start to shine out like a beacon to your new found potency. You won’t want to keep it at home any more with nowhere to go.

A word of warning before you set out on this wonderful adventure: Get some trusted advice about where to get your male enhancement products. There’s a lot of people selling snake oil potions that promise the most amazing things. Go carefully and watch out! When you look at all the pills that promise the opportunity of guaranteed growth, look away. How convenient to take a pill three times a day and have a particular part of your body grow a little bit more week by week. Tempting, but maybe too good to be true!

When you search for an effective way to enlarge the size of your penis you will be presented with a huge array of possibilities. How can you make a decision about what does or doesn’t work?

For many men the decision might be made on the basis of cost. For others simplicity of approach like pills or patches without the use of gizmos or devices. The desire of all of these customers is surely to have a positive result but many of the options available do not deliver.

Getting a bigger penis can be a very frustrating experience. Unfortunately it is also the most common experience. Purveyors of pills have a lot to answer for in this sector of male health which has rich pickings. There are lots of soft targets reluctant to raise their voice about dissatisfaction because of the sensitivity of the subject. Is there a man who would complain and draw attention to himself as someone who is on a course of penis enlargement? If you are looking around for a penis enlargement program - beware!

So how do you cut through the dross and get to the gold? Investigate. If there is a device on offer has it been through a series of tests to ensure that it meets safety standards? If it has, industry standards award a badge of merit like a CE mark or a kite mark or any of a host of other recognized standards. It means of course that the item has been through a tough testing procedure to ensure that it’s up to the task. If the device is for penis enlargement it should also be certified as a medical device. If a product doesn’t have these standards stay away. Having a penis stretching device that could snap or go ping doesn’t bear thinking about!

If a device is making claims about being able to enlarge penis size there should be a lot of evidence to support this. This is usually done by conducting carefully organised clinical trials. This could take the form of case studies over a set period of time with competent observers noting the effectiveness of the procedure.

For example: Case study 1. Healthy male age 23 over a period of 8 weeks showed an increase of one inch in penis size. The subject wore a device for two hours per day with an average traction of half an inch applied. Periods of rest during this time were shown to be more effective than constant daily traction. Signed by 5 doctors who participated as expert observers. (Doctors wouldn’t want to put their name on something that had even a hint of deception about it because they would be putting their reputation on the line.)

A favourite way to encourage potential buyers in the penis enlargement market place is to show before and after photographs. If you were to photograph your penis on a cold and frosty morning it would probably be quite small. If you were then to lay in a hot bath for about half and hour your penis would enlarge to its maximum flaccid state. Take another photograph. Would a comparison of those two photographs prove any increase in size? Yes it would but they wouldn’t be the sort of gains you would be looking for after you had been using a device for a couple of months! Just natural variables dependent on temperature. Persuasive advertising can be very deceptive.

Exercises to get a bigger penis are very popular. Lots of them are free if you look hard enough on the internet. You could argue that if you don’t have to buy in to a course of exercise routines you can’t really lose anything. You can waste a lot of your time finding out that they haven’t done anything though! Look for clinical test results before you spend your time on unproven techniques. Anyone could make up a system rather than do time-consuming research. And they do. The net is also the mis-information highway. You are in shark infested waters in the ocean of penis enlargement.

Everyone is not all out to get you though. There are some reputable companies who have taken a great deal of time to provide a well organized system of safe, effective penis enlargement. Get advice from a trusted source before you commit yourself. Getting a bigger penis doesn’t have to be difficult.

Your choice of work out program is an important one, and it can be difficult. Make sure to make the decision in consultation with your health care provider. Remember that a good weight loss exercise program should be combined with healthy dietary changes, as well. It doesn’t matter if your aim is to maintain your current weight or to lose weight.

Calculate your body weight and based on that figure, decide how much weight you want to lose on your program before beginning. If you know the number of pounds that you need to lose, designing a weight loss exercise program that is directly tailored to your needs will be easy. Breaking up this large goal into smaller, more manageable goals is also a smart idea to keep you motivated and focused.

A personal trainer can be hired to assist in developing a weight loss exercise program. You can also make your own work out plan schedule by searching for online tools. Another option is to buy a ready made exercise plan like a computer program, chart, or book. These items can aid in tracking the goals for your exercise and diet.

If you really want to lose weight, get your heart pumping and figure out how you can get your heart beating hard in the daily chores that you do. Include things like vacuum cleaning or scrubbing your shower into your daily routine and do the household chores while you keep your heart in shape. Once your body is adapted to cardiovascular exercises it’s quite easy and you should be able to do cardio exercises several times a week for 20-50 minutes each session.

If your health is good, you may want to look into a strength training type weight loss exercise program. With strength training, you not only build muscle, but you tone and shape the muscles that you already have. Simultaneously, fat melts off your body. An assortment of push-ups, curl ups, and ball squats comprise the core of strength training exercises. If you’re new to strength training, choose one exercise per day and do 16 repetitions for best results.

Your weight loss exercise program should include plenty of variety for maximum benefits. That way, your various muscle groups all get exercised and your body does not get used to the same routine. Cardio exercises should be rotated with weight training, with an accent on different parts of the body each day for optimum results.

It is a good idea to keep a journal of your diet, amount of exercise, and how you are feeling to help with your weight loss exercise program. If you feel dizzy or faint it is important that you discontinue with your workout. Gradually add exercise to your routine and, as your strength and endurance progresses, increase the amount.
